The Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (NLPtCA) develops and maintain standards for the practice of Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling. We promote Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy and Counselling to a wider public and to further the use of the techniques, training and practice of NLPt in personal development.
- As members of the Constructivist and Existential College of UKCP we accredit trained individuals to the UKCP national register. UKCP as an umbrella organisation is compliant with the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
- As a professional body we monitor and support the activities of our members and represent the interests of NLPtCA to other professional and regulatory authorities engaged in the field of psychotherapy and counselling.
NLPtCA is a not-for-profit company, dedicated to developing and promoting the use of NLP in therapeutic and counselling settings. The Association offers a professional home to therapists and NLP professionals who value being in a therapy-based community. Working as a professional therapist means operating in the same domain as the original NLP exemplars, Erickson, Satir, et al.
